About
Krys Henry is a travel and lifestyle photojournalist focused on authentic, documentary-driven visual storytelling. His work spans four continents — documenting family travel, destination culture, everyday life on the road, and the kind of human moments that resist staging — through an editorial lens that prioritizes what's real over what's arranged.
The through-line across everything Krys shoots is a commitment to story over aesthetics. The technical execution is always there — the light, the composition, the edit — but it's in service of something true about the subject, the place, or the moment. That instinct comes from years of working in environments that don't wait for you to be ready: active volcanoes, crowded souks, the back seat of a campervan or traveling with two tired kids and fading golden hour light outside.
Krys holds a graduate degree from the Cox School of Business at SMU and works across both the corporate and creative worlds — a background that shapes how he approaches client relationships and commissioned work as much as it shapes how he approaches a frame. He understands the brief, respects the timeline, and delivers work that performs editorially and commercially.

Working Together
Krys partners with travel brands, lifestyle companies, tourism boards, hotels, and publications to create visual content that feels editorial rather than produced. Collaborations are built around authentic storytelling — the work should look like it came from a real experience, because it did.
Available for commissioned travel photography, destination editorials, brand campaigns, and long-term content partnerships. Domestic and international.
